Mark Bentsen champions a people-first, AI-forward methodology in his work leading AI adoption for small and medium privately held companies. As co-founder of Secure IVAI, he specializes in LLM security testing and risk assurance, guiding organizations toward responsible AI implementation.

Drawing from his experience leading engineering teams at FedEx and in the finance and healthcare sectors, Mark brings over 20 years of industry and academic expertise to AI integration challenges. His peers have elected him IEEE Vice Chair of the Reliability Society Dallas, recognizing his contributions to the field.

Mark actively shapes AI research through university partnerships while advancing AI literacy through conference presentations and corporate training. His credentials include CTAL (Full) certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Outside of work, Mark lives in Dallas with his wife of 23 years and their two sons. The Bentsens enjoy cooking, hosting dinner parties, and welcoming friends visiting the DFW area. Their ideal day includes good food, swimming, and board games. Recent travels have taken them to Cuba, Cambodia, China, Dubai, and many of Texas’ scenic swimming holes.
